What Makes Faith Fest Different

 Somewhere between a blank page and a Bible verse, something kind of magical happens. Not the Pinterest-perfect, perfectly-blended-watercolor kind of magical. The real kind. The kind where you pick up a brush or a pencil or even just a colored marker and suddenly the words on the page stop being words and start becoming something you actually feel.

That's what happens when creativity and faith collide. And honestly, most women never even know it's possible because nobody told them they were allowed to bring their craft supplies to their quiet time.

Here's the thing about Scripture. It isn't a one-size-fits-all experience. Two women can read the exact same verse and walk away with completely different revelations, emotions, and responses. One might see strength. Another might see grace. One might paint it in deep blues and gold. Another might layer it in torn paper and soft pencil lines. Neither one is wrong. Both are completely, beautifully right.

That's the whole heartbeat behind Faith Fest 2026. Twelve Christian women creatives. One Bible verse prompt. Twelve completely different expressions of what that verse stirs up inside them. You get to watch all of it unfold and then bring your own voice into it too.

The 2026 Focus

This year, we’re focusing on 

Mark 14:3–6 

The story of bold devotion, poured-out worship, and a woman who refused to hold back her gift.

And something shifts when you sit with it creatively.

You start imagining it in your own heart.
Then you see how God unleashes it on the page.
And the guilt so many women quietly carry about their gifts?
It begins to loosen.

³ While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head. ⁴ Some of those present were saying indignantly to one another, “Why this waste of perfume? ⁵ It could have been sold for more than a year’s wages and the money given to the poor.” And they rebuked her harshly. ⁶ “Leave her alone,” said Jesus. “Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing to me.
